Tips to improve marketability

Kitchen

	Wash windows and launder drapery.
	Mop floors and wash walls.
	Clean the stove and oven.
	Remove small appliances and canister sets from countertops.
	Remove magnets and other items from refrigerator.
	Fix leaky faucets.
	Replace broken hinges/handles on cabinets and tighten loose hardware.
	Put out your best kitchen towels.

Storage

	Throw out unneeded/unwanted articles, have a garage sale, or donate items to a charity thrift store.
	Neatly organize your bedroom, linen and broom closets.
	Clean out your garage and basement. Sweep the floor and remove oil stains.
